Take Time for the Little Things

Nicholas with Dad doing some "big-time" fishing.
Hey everyone! I am going to keep today's post short and sweet. Have a SAFE and fun fourth! Enjoy the day and take some time for the small ,simple things that this holiday stands for. Freedom, liberty and all things American! I will be spending some quality time with dear friends and family this 4th and will be watching my boys' faces light up as they see the colors explode in the night sky. Treasure these moments, as they are swiftly gone!
Friday's Recipe!

2 T. Cornstarch
5 Egg yolks
2 c. Milk
1 t. Vanilla

** Combine the sugar and cornstarch. Add the egg yolks. Beat well. Scald the milk. Gradually pour it over the egg mixture, beating constantly.
